Our Beginnings
Warrens Imports was founded by the Warren family in 1985. As children, Randy and Phil Warren spent their evenings and weekends watching their father, Gene, service and repair heavy trucks and automobiles. It was during this time that Randy and Phil earned the value of every automobile, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car or truck.
When Randy and his brother Phil graduated high school they each decided to seek a career in the automotive industry. Randy became a factory certified technician for a Volkswagen, Porsche and Audi dealership while Phil became a factory trained counterman for a Chrysler dealership. While Randy and Phil were learning the most advanced techniques in auto repair and auto parts management, they never forgot the lessons they learned from their father and grandfather all those years ago.
Valuable Lessons Learned
Gene's father Albert repaired and restore cars for friends and neighbors; asking for little compensation in return. Gene and his sons never forgot the gratitude of those Albert helped. They never forgot the warm feeling they felt every time Albert would deliver a restored vehicle to someone who couldn't afford a new one. Gene, Phil and Randy were determined to honor their father and grandfather by opening a business that would truly offer value to the community. They promised themselves to always provide honest and outstanding service, regardless of how large their business grew.
Present And Future
Gene, Phil and Randy opened Warrens Imports in the summer of 1985. Since then they have been providing excellent parts and service while offering outstanding value to friends neighbors throughout Lawton and Southwest Oklahoma.
